Since the gaining of independence, the Central African Republic experienced 3 three mains coup d'état, several civil wars, and rebellions that weakens the country and its ability to build stability. The chronic corruption, poverty, an unstable government, a lack of suitable infrastructure, and porous borders continue to jeopardize CAR's stability.
